Our Principles and Policies radio show for Thursday April 11, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis discuss articles which demonstrate the logical absurdity of the end-point of the current gun-control “debate” (read propaganda onslaught) by examining efforts to enforce a ban on the sale of knives in Great Britain because they are the weapon of choice in gang attacks now.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Friday March 22, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis ponder a recent ruling from the 9th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals (the most liberal Circuit court in the country) which says that “demand letters” issued by the US Justice Department to communications companies asking for YOUR personal information with attached gag orders are unconstitutional.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Friday March 15, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis discuss an article speaking in glowing terms of California’s legally dubious seizure of firearms based on “disability.” We ask some important questions about the methods and the rationale used by the state to “justify” these seizures.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Thursday March 14, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis discuss an editorial published in the Washington Post written by a faux conservative former Bush White House speech writer and “adviser” with a dubious political pedigree and a less than zealous attitude toward fact. As you might expect we find some flaws in his analysis of Senator Rand Paul’s filibuster.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Saturday March 9, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis discuss the left-center old guard Republican reaction to the filibuster against the nomination of John Brennan to be the Director of the CIA. Senators McCain and Graham takes turns shooting themselves in the foot.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Friday March 8, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis discuss the filibuster against the nomination of John Brennan to be the Director of the CIA. That wasn’t really the question, though. It was about the use of drones to assassinate Americans on American soil without benefit of trial.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Monday March 4, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis do a follow-up on a story that we discussed last week involving Law Enforcement Targets, Inc and their “No More Hesitation” line of law enforcement training targets. We find lots of wiggle room in their “withdrawal” of this odious product line.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Thursday February 28, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis continue a review of an article by Dr. Joel McDurmon of American Vision which seeks to educate people about what happens when smiling politicians bait a trap and we take the bait. We discuss an Ohio example in some detail.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Friday February 8, 2013. Chuck Michaelis does an analysis on the motivations behind legislation in Connecticut that would require “mental health screening.” What Chuck sees is a hijacking of the mental screening process to strip people who think outside the box of their custodial rights and the forced “retraining” of their children to conform to “societal norms.”
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Friday January 18, 2013. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis do a more in depth discussion of the President’s proposal to “reduce gun violence.” We predict that the result of the proposals will be MORE violence, not less, as has been the case in many other countries that have banned private ownership of firearms. We also question other sections of the proposal that are extremely dangerous to liberty.
