The Institute for Principled Policy is an Ohio based policy think tank. Our goal is to influence the creation and implementation of 
social, moral and political public policy from the vantage point of a Biblical world-view. Our primary interest is on policies for the state of Ohio but we also strive to influence national and international leaders to look to God’s word for guidance on pressing contemporary problems. We search the Holy Scriptures for answers to problems vexing modern society and firmly believe that thoseanswers lie in the timeless wisdom imparted to us from a merciful and loving God in His word and the example of His Son, our King, Jesus Christ.
The Institute for Principled Policy publishes a semi-annual journal, In the Gates, with articles addressing the topics and debates of our day from a number of distinguished writers and thinkers. Articles are chosen for publication based on the author’s approach to the topic from a Biblical perspective.

The Institute For Principled Policy is a body of like-minded individuals committed to a foundation of Biblical truths. We are expressly engaged in applying these Biblical truthsto all areas of individual, familial and societal endeavor.

Why Is This Important?
The foundation of societal excellence is based upon the success and support of the family unit, grounded in faith and morality. The decline of successful, long-term marriages, the defamation of the unborn,and the undereducation of all individuals to God’s economy for the family has significant consequences. Unwise public policy decisions destroy our society from the inside out. We believe that calling policymakers to a self-consciously Biblical standard of leadership will help counter the effects of the erosion of the family, impacted by those core issues.
